Belt Press
Belt presses are commonly used in sludge dewatering units for the drainage of surplus active sludge in domestic wastewater treatment plants’ biological aeration units. Because of its continuous operating concept, sewage treatment plants’ sludge drying units are normally equipped with a belt press. During the operation a polymer dosage unit and a monopomp are also needed.
Squeezing Pressure
The squeezing pressure between the drums and the sludge pumped at a fixed flow through the monopomp is intended to isolate solid particles from the liquid phase.
